Pirate’s Den

Pirate’s Den

Picture this… You’ve spent the day on the river eating and drinking with friends.  As the sun is setting you pull up to a resort with it’s white sand beaches and it feels as though you’ve taken a wrong turn and ended up in the Caribbean.  Alas! you haven’t, you’ve just arrived at Pirate’s Den.  Pirate’s Den Resort has a full service bar, restaurant, RV park and golf course right on the Colorado River in Parker, Arizona.  It truly is something to experience.  Come with the kids they’ll love it! Promise! Pirate’s Den is a full Pirate themed resort.  There’s even a pirate ship!!

Let’s talk RV park because we haven’t really reviewed one of those yet.  If I was going to take my RV and park it somewhere it would be here.  You can reserve a spot right on the water with a beachside cabana at Pirate’s Den!  These beachside cabanas are perfect for entertaining guests or just enjoying the sunrise or sunset with loved ones.   Pirates Den RV park offers cable television, high-speed internet, 50 amp electrical hook up, and clean water and sewer.  The restaurant serves breakfast lunch and dinner, and you can head to the bar for happy hour.  What else could you possibly need?

After a day on the river you can take a stroll over to Pirate’s Den’s Black Pearl Restaurant.  Love the name and love the atmosphere BUT I love the food even more.  I know I know…we are forever talking about food!  You can enjoy your food on the galley and literally be steps from the water.  I am obsessed with the Parrot Sandwich, and no it’s not literally a parrot.  It’s a delicious grilled chicken sandwich with swiss cheese, roasted red peppers, and an aioli spread all on a toasted bun.  Its yummy and tasty and thoroughly delicious.  I’ve also taste tested the Big Island Halibut and plenty on the appetizer and desert menu and it’s all been delicious.  Pirate’s Den’s Black Pearl Restaurant knows how to make some good ol’ pirate grub!

Serious Question…Are you a thirsty pirate? Well if you are, problem solved! Pirate’s Den’s “social centerpiece” is the Thirsty Pirate Beach Bar.  Right on the water and with a great view of the pirate ship, you can enjoy flowing drinks all day and night and even order from the grill.  Make sure to catch Pirate Den’s Happy Hour Monday- Thursday 3pm-6pm.

You can spend your summer (and even your winter) living by the Pirates Code…A drink in your hand and your feet in the sand!

Yo Ho Yo Ho a Pirates life for meeee!!
