Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, after all it is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast starts your day off so why not start your day off the right way. Some people are egg people, some people are more pancake kinda people. Me, personally, it depends on what kind of mood I’m in. Lets go over some great breakfast places in Lake Havasu City.
Classic Burger. I know Classic Burger doesn’t sound like an obvious choice for a breakfast spot. BUT if you have ever tried their breakfast burritos you know it is actually a great choice. They have the absolute yummiest breakfast burritos. Classic Burger is located on Palo Verde right off the Highway in Lake Havasu City. They open at 6am too so if you’re up early no worries. Classic Burger also has great cheeseburgers too!
Makai Cafe is one of my favorites. Makai Cafe is located right on the water in the Channel on Lake Havasu. You can enjoy breakfast and mimosas with a gorgeous view of The London Bridge. Makai Cafe has a waterfront patio to enjoy or an indoor dining space if its a little on the hot side. Makai Cafe is also accessible while out on the boat. They are open at 7:30 am seven days a week. Makai’s has a great menu and the biggest (and dangerous) mimosas. With great food and even better views, this breakfast cafe does not disappoint! And they serve lunch too.
The Red Onion is a local favorite. The Red Onion has been open since 2007 when Lake Havasu City’s first bank was transformed into this great restaurant in the heart of town. Located on McCulloch Blvd, or main street as we know it, The Red Onion is open for breakfast and lunch daily. The Red Onion offers a huge selection of omelets and breakfast specialties as well. One of my favorite things about The Red Onion is they have a huge wall of windows that rolls back so diners enjoy an indoor/outdoor experience.
If you are a breakfast lover like I am these places are definitely worth trying out. All are local favorites you’ll be happy you tried! Happy eating!
